The CEC is concerned about
the lack of transportation options in Charlotte outside of privately owned and operated cars.  We were awarded a grant in 2023 for a public outreach study to examine options to reduce carbon emissions and improve transportation accessibility in town.  This work partners well with the Planning Commission's East and West Charlotte Villages master-planning project. The combined projects are supported by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission and a team of community planners and landscape architects from DuBois & King.
